Where they differ

On Leap, not on ElevenLabs

  • Credit you pay for doesn't expire, with or without a plan.
  • Commercial use from your first run, the free $2 included.
  • Voices from other makers on the same balance: MiniMax Speech, Gemini TTS, MAI-Voice, OpenAI TTS and more, so you can read one script with several.
  • One price per model in the studio, the API and the MCP server.

On ElevenLabs, not on Leap

  • Voice cloning and Voice Design. Leap's voice models read only in their own preset voices.
  • Lower prices for its own models on its API: Eleven v3 is $0.08 per 1,000 characters there, less than on Leap.
  • Studio for long-form work, the ElevenReader app, and apps for iPhone and Android.
  • ElevenAgents, a platform for building voice agents.

Questions

Questions people ask

Is it the same ElevenLabs on Leap?
Yes. Leap runs ElevenLabs' own models, Eleven v3, Eleven v4, Multilingual v2, Eleven Music, Sound Effects, Voice Changer, Dubbing and Scribe among them, and names each one on its page with its price.
Can I clone my voice on Leap?
No. Each model reads your words in its own preset voices. The ElevenLabs Voice Changer can say a recording of yours again in one of its voices. Leap's Acceptable Use Policy forbids making a voice that passes for a real person who hasn't agreed.
Can I use the voice-overs commercially?
Leap's Terms say that, as between you and Leap, you own the results the studio makes for you, to the extent the law allows, and they set no personal-use-only limit. On ElevenLabs, the free plan is for personal use with credit to ElevenLabs, and paid plans include a commercial license.
Does credit expire on Leap?
Credit you pay for doesn't expire while Leap is offered. On ElevenLabs, plan credits roll over for up to two months while you stay subscribed, and pay-as-you-go credits expire 12 months after purchase.
Is Leap free to try?
Yes. A new account starts with $2 of credit and needs no card; the table on this page shows how much speech that reads with each model. After that you add credit from $5 and pay by the character.
