His win, celebrated by a grumpy grey cat. A real run: the clip and the photo in the corner went in, and this came back.

Add your clip and a photo of who goes in: you, a friend who agreed, your pet or a character. You get the same clip with them in it, doing the same moves to the same sound, with the camera and everyone else as filmed.

Real runs

What it has made

Each one came back as you see it, from the clip and the photo in its corner: the clip it started from, then who went in. Every person, pet and clip here was generated for this page: no real person is on it.

Who it's for

Trend makers
Turn your friend into the cat as they win, or put yourself in the dance everyone is copying this week.
Pet accounts
Your own dog makes the catch, from one photo of it, in a clip you already have.
Faceless and character channels
The same character in a new clip every day, with no camera on you.

What you get

Priced on your clip
A price for each second of your clip, shown before you press and charged only if the swap works.
The clip as it was
The same moves, timing, camera, cuts and sound. Only the one you pick changes.
Who goes in, as they are
A person keeps their face, skin tone, hair, age and the clothes in their photo, and a pet its coat and markings. Nothing is removed or made more revealing.
Checked before you pay
A clip that's too short or too long is named as you add it, before anything is held.

Questions

Swap anyone in a video, answered

Whose photo can I use?
Your own, one of an adult who has clearly agreed to it, your pet, or a character. Leap's Acceptable Use Policy forbids showing a real person who hasn't agreed, celebrities and public figures included, and anything made to make people believe someone said or did something they didn't.
Can it put a person where a pet was, or a cat where a person was?
Yes, both ways. A cat in a person's place plays their part, holding what they held; a person in a pet's place does what the pet did. Pick who changes, and the rest of the clip stays as filmed.
What if there are two people in my clip?
Pick who changes: the main one, the one on the left or the right, whoever talks, or the pet. Everyone else stays exactly as filmed.
Which clips work best?
5 to 15 seconds in one shot, with the one to swap in view for most of it. A photo of who goes in, alone and sharp, whole body if the clip shows theirs, works best. Fast spins and dim rooms work; someone tiny at the back of a crowd works less well.
Does it keep the sound?
Yes. The clip's own voices, music and room stay under the swap, and a new person's lips follow the words.
What does Swap anyone in a video make?
Put anyone into your clip: the person, pet or character in a photo takes the place of one in it, with the clip's moves, camera and sound. 5 to 15 seconds.
What do I need to bring?
Your clip: MP4 or MOV, 5 to 15 seconds, with the one to swap in view. Its sound stays. Longer? Trim it to its best 15 seconds first. Who goes in: One person, pet or character, alone in a sharp photo, whole body if the clip shows theirs. A person must be you or an adult who agreed to it.
How does it work?
Add a clip of 5 to 15 seconds with the one to swap in view. Add a photo of who goes in, and pick who changes if there are two. Get the same clip with them in it, sound and all, in about four minutes.
What can I choose?
Who changes: The main one, On the left, On the right, Whoever talks or The pet.
How much does it cost?
From $0.55 a second, and you see the exact price before you press go. A run that fails costs nothing, there is no subscription, and your first top-up has no card fee.
Can I use the result commercially?
Yes. You own what you make on Leap, so you can use it commercially, and we never train AI on it. The people and brands shown in a result can still have rights in it; the Terms say more.
Can I run it from code?
Yes. Developers run it as leap/video-swap through the Leap API, at the same price, with the same choices.

It runs on H3 Max Recast, with the prompting done for you. Rather write your own? Open a model's page and start from there.
