Questions
Travel poster, answered
- How big can I print it?
- A 2:3 poster is 3392 by 5056 pixels: a sharp 11 by 17 inch print at 300 dpi, or 24 by 36 inches at about 140 dpi.
- Can it make a national park poster?
- Pick WPA national park for the screen-printed look of the 1930s park posters, and type the park's name. It works from your own photo of the park, so it is your trip, not a copy of a poster you can buy.
- Will it still look like us?
- It is built to: everyone in the photo stays recognizable as a stylized figure, with their faces, hair, glasses and clothes. In our runs it kept a grey bob, a cap and glasses, locs, white hair and a beard. If someone changed, run it again.
- What does Travel poster make?
- Your trip photo redrawn as a vintage travel poster, from 1930s railway art deco to a Swiss ski poster, with the place name lettered big and you in it.
- What photo works best?
- Trip photo: A view, a street or a landmark from your trip, with or without you in it. Place name: The headline, lettered big exactly as typed, such as Kyoto, Côte d'Azur or Big Sur.
- How does it work?
- Add a photo from your trip: the view, or the two of you in it. Type the place's name and, if you like, a small line such as Summer 2026. Pick a style. Get a poster at print size in under a minute.
- What can I choose?
- Style: 1930s railway art deco, WPA national park, 1960s jet age, Swiss ski poster, Shin-hanga woodblock, Riviera gouache or Surprise me. Leave any of them to Surprise me.
- How much does it cost?
- From $0.40 an image, and you see the exact price before you press go. A run that fails costs nothing, there is no subscription, and you can start free without a card.
- Can I use the result commercially?
- Yes. You own what you make on Leap, so you can use it commercially, and we never train AI on it. The people and brands shown in a result can still have rights in it; the Terms say more.
- Can I run it from code?
- Yes. Developers run it as leap/travel-poster through the Leap API, at the same price, with the same choices.
It runs on Nano Banana 2.1, with the prompting done for you. Rather write your own? Open a model's page and start from there.
