Guide
Which AI music generator to useThe best AI music generator for each kind of track
The best one depends on the track: whether it needs a singer, whether you wrote the words, how long it runs and what you want to spend. Here are ten music models on Leap, each with a real track and the prompt it was given, their prices and a pick for each of those jobs.

Questions
Questions people ask
- What is the best AI music generator?
- It depends on the track. For a song with your own lyrics, MiniMax Music 2.6 and ACE-Step: write the words beside the prompt, and it sings them. For a song with vocals from a prompt alone, Eleven Music v2.5: describe the song, singing included, and it sings words of its own. For the lowest price per track, ACE-Step: $0.013 for a 60-second track at its default length, the cheapest default run here. For the longest tracks, Sonilo Music 1.1: up to 10 minutes in one run. They all run in the same studio, so you can give two of them the same prompt and keep the better track.
- Why aren't Suno or Udio here?
- This guide compares the music models you can run on Leap, where it can play a real track and price it. Suno and Udio aren't on Leap. On October 6, 2026, Suno's free plan gave 50 credits a day, no monthly song downloads and no commercial rights, and its Pro plan cost $10 a month, or $8 a month billed yearly, with commercial use. Udio had turned off downloads, and its terms allow what it makes for personal, non-commercial use only. If you pay for Suno now, Leap vs Suno sets the two side by side.
- Can I make a song with my own lyrics?
- Yes. MiniMax Music 2.6 and ACE-Step take your lyrics beside a prompt that describes the style, and sing them. Eleven Music v2.5 and Lyria 3.5 make songs with vocals from the prompt alone, singing words of their own, as the tracks above do.
- Which AI music generator can I try for free?
- All of them. Sign up with a Gmail, Outlook or work address and you start with $2 of free credit, no card needed. The credit works on every model here; on ACE-Step, the cheapest, it covers 151 tracks. After that you pay per track, in dollars, with no subscription.
- Do I need an account with each maker?
- No. One Leap account runs all 10 of them, in the studio and through the API, from one balance in dollars. You see the price before each run, and a run that fails costs nothing.
- Can I use what I make commercially?
- Yes. You own what you make on Leap, so you can use it commercially, and we never train AI on it. The people and brands shown in a result can still have rights in it; the Terms say more.
- Is there an API?
- Yes. Every model here runs through Leap's REST API at the same price as in the studio, and agents can call them through Leap's MCP server.
