Where they differ

On Leap, not on OpenArt

  • Pay as you go with no plan: top up from $5 whenever you want more.
  • Credit you pay for stays when you stop paying.
  • Prices in dollars, the same in the studio, the API and the MCP server.

On OpenArt, not on Leap

  • Personalized models trained on your own images.
  • Tools of its own such as One-Click Story and Director.
  • Unlimited generation of select models on the Pro and Wonder plans.

What it costs

What a run costs on Leap

A new account comes with $2 of credit and no card. The table shows each model's cheapest run and about how many the credit covers. After that you add credit and pay per run, and a run that fails costs nothing.

ModelFromWhat $2 makes
Seedance 2.5$0.60for 5 s with soundAbout 3 clips
Seedance 2.0$0.39for 5 s with soundAbout 5 clips
Seedance 1.5 Pro$0.067for 5 sAbout 30 clips
Kling 3.0$0.92for 5 sAbout 2 clips
Veo 3.1 Fast$0.44for 4 sAbout 4 clips
Wan 2.6$0.55for 5 sAbout 3 clips

Each price is one run at the model's lowest-priced settings, from the live catalog. Larger sizes, longer clips and sound cost more, and the studio shows the exact price before every run. How pricing works.

Questions

Questions people ask

Is Leap free to try?
Yes. A new account starts with $2 of credit and needs no card. After that you add credit from $5 and pay for each run, with no plan.
Does credit expire on Leap?
Credit you pay for doesn't expire while Leap is offered. On OpenArt, plan credits don't carry over to the next month, and paid credits go when the plan ends.
Can I keep one character across images and video?
Yes. Character Studio builds one from about 200 options, and its video recipe puts the same character in new scenes.
Can I train a model on my own images?
No. Leap's models take your photos as references instead, Nano Banana Pro among them.
Can I use Leap from my own app or an AI agent?
Yes. The API and the MCP server spend the same balance as the studio, at the same prices.
