Is this the same as removing the background?
No. A background remover cuts the subject out on a transparent background. This puts it somewhere new and relights it so it looks taken there.
Whose photo can I use?
Your own, or a photo of someone who agreed to it. Leap's Acceptable Use Policy forbids impersonating anyone or making deceptive fakes of real people.
What does Background changer make?
Put the person, pet or product in your photo somewhere else, relit to match, so it looks taken there.
