What it has made

Each one came back as you see it. The people and the pets are generated: no real person is on this page.

Short-film makers and students
A pencil storyboard of the scene to hand the crew, with the shot under every frame.

What you get

Your cast in every frame

Questions

Storyboard, answered

Is it a storyboard template?
No. It draws the board for your idea, frames and captions included. For a blank grid to sketch on, a template is the better fit.
What if I don't have an idea?
Leave it empty. It picks a genre from clues in your cast photos, such as what they wear or where they are, and writes a short film for them.
Can I turn the frames into a video?
Yes. Crop a frame and start a clip from it with an image to video model on Leap, one shot at a time.
What does Storyboard make?
Your scene or ad idea boarded as six or nine numbered frames in story order, with the same cast in every frame and a shot label under each.
How does it work?
Write the scene or the ad in a sentence or two, or leave it empty for a short film. Add up to three cast photos, such as a person, a pet or a product, and pick a look and six or nine frames. Get a storyboard in about half a minute.
What can I choose?
Look: Cinematic frames, Pencil storyboard, Comic board or Anime board. Frames: 6 frames or 9 frames.
How much does it cost?
From $0.40 an image, and you see the exact price before you press go. A run that fails costs nothing, there is no subscription, and you can start free without a card.
Can I use the result commercially?
Yes. You own what you make on Leap, so you can use it commercially, and we never train AI on it. The people and brands shown in a result can still have rights in it; the Terms say more.
Can I run it from code?
Yes. Developers run it as leap/storyboard through the Leap API, at the same price, with the same choices.

It runs on GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst, with the prompting done for you. Rather write your own? Open a model's page and start from there.
