Is Leap free to try?
Yes. A new account starts with $2 of credit and needs no card. After that you add credit from $5 and pay for each image, with no plan.
Can I use Phoenix or Lucid on Leap?
No. Those are Leonardo's own models and run on Leonardo. Leap runs Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2, Seedream, FLUX, Ideogram, Recraft and others.
Is what I make on Leap private?
Yes, on any balance. Your files are private, and a picture becomes public only if you share it.
Does credit expire on Leap?
Credit you pay for doesn't expire while Leap is offered. On Leonardo, leftover plan tokens roll over for up to three months' worth and are cancelled with the plan, and top-up tokens need an active plan to use.
Can I keep one character across images and video?
Yes. Character Studio builds one from about 200 options, and its video recipe puts the same character in new scenes. Leap doesn't train a model on your own images.
