Which model to make a logo withThe best AI logo generator for each kind of logo

The best one depends on the logo: whether a printer needs it as a vector file, whether your name has to be spelled exactly, and whether you want one mark or a whole brand board. Here are five models on Leap that draw logos, each given the same brief, with their prices, how long they took and a pick for each of those jobs, plus a recipe that makes an SVG logo from your business name with no prompt to write.

Each recipe has its instructions written for one job. You give it what it asks for, such as a photo or your business name, pick from a few choices, and it runs on a model chosen for that job.

One prompt

The same prompt on 5 models

“A logo for Gutterwing Records, an independent punk and soul record label in Baltimore. The symbol is a scruffy pigeon standing on a vinyl record. Below the symbol, the name GUTTERWING RECORDS. Flat vector style, two colours, centred on a plain white background.”

One run per model, square, with Recraft V4.1 asked for an SVG, and all five spell GUTTERWING RECORDS right. Each logo is as it came back.

  • GPT Image 2.5 Flare's answer to the same brief: a pigeon on a vinyl record over the words Gutterwing Records
    GPT Image 2.5 Flare

A woodcut pigeon on a record, in black alone though the brief asked for two colours. Its fine feather lines would fill in at a small size.

    Charged $0.086, ready in 10 s

  • Recraft V4.1's answer to the same brief: a pigeon on a vinyl record over the words Gutterwing Records
    Recraft V4.1

The only one that came back as a vector file: a flat black pigeon with an orange ruff on an orange-rimmed record, the name in a deco face.

    Charged $0.088, ready in 11 s

  • Nano Banana Pro's answer to the same brief: a pigeon on a vinyl record over the words Gutterwing Records
    Nano Banana Pro

Rust and black, and it wrote BALTIMORE and PUNK & SOUL around the record, words from the brief that were never meant to go on the logo.

    Charged $0.19, ready in 27 s

  • FLUX 3 Image's answer to the same brief: a pigeon on a vinyl record over the words Gutterwing Records
    FLUX 3 Image

Black and orange, the name on one line, with a printed grain over everything, so it reads as a T-shirt print more than flat art.

    Charged $0.026, ready in 25 s

  • GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst's answer to the same brief: a pigeon on a vinyl record over the words Gutterwing Records
    GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst

Much like Flare's, with a grumpier half-closed eye; black with a touch of grey instead of two colours.

    Charged $0.086, ready in 14 s

Questions

Questions people ask

What is the best AI logo generator?
It depends on the logo. For the lowest price per image, FLUX 3 Image: $0.026 for a 1K image, the cheapest run here. For the quickest image, Recraft V4.1: about 4 seconds in Leap's own runs at the default settings, the shortest wait here. For the sharpest picture, GPT Image 2.5 Flare, Nano Banana Pro and FLUX 3 Image: up to 4K, the highest resolution here. For edits that start from your photos, FLUX 3 Image: up to 10 photos in one run, so you can edit a picture or combine several. They all run in the same studio, so you can give two of them the same prompt and keep the better logo.
Which one gives me a vector file?
Recraft V4.1, when you set its output to Vector (SVG). An SVG stays sharp at any size, from a favicon to a storefront, and you can edit its shapes and colours in a design app. The other models here hand back a picture, at up to 4K, which is fine for a website or a social profile, and a designer can trace it into a vector later. Leap's Logo recipe runs on Recraft V4.1 and always returns an SVG.
How does this compare with Looka, Brandmark, Canva or Wix?
They are logo makers built around templates, and you design for free before you pay. On October 6, 2026, Looka charged $35 for one low-resolution PNG, $72 for its high-resolution files including SVG, or $96 a year for its Brand Kit. Brandmark charged $35 once for PNG and vector files, $95 with brand guidelines and other designs, or $195 with up to 10 concepts drawn by hand. Canva had a free plan, and Canva Pro was US$18 a month or US$144 a year. Wix's logo maker, now part of Wixel, lets you download a logo as SVG, PNG or JPG for free once you sign in. On Leap you pay per logo from one balance, with no plan.
Will it spell my business name right?
Every model here spelled GUTTERWING RECORDS right on its first run, and the other logos on this page came back as written. Models still slip on a long or unusual name now and then, so read each logo letter by letter before you use it, and run it again if a letter moved.
Can I trademark a logo made here?
Leap doesn't search trademark records, so it can't tell you whether your name or mark is free to use or to register. You own the logo as far as the law allows, but in some countries AI-made work may not be protected by copyright, and we can't promise no one else makes something similar. Before you print it or file for a trademark, search the USPTO's records for your name in your field, and ask a trademark attorney if it matters to you.
Which AI logo generator can I try for free?
All of them. Sign up with a Gmail, Outlook or work address and you start with $2 of free credit, no card needed. The credit works on every model here; on FLUX 3 Image, the cheapest, it covers 75 logos. After that you pay per logo, in dollars, with no subscription.
Do I need an account with each maker?
No. One Leap account runs all 5 of them, in the studio and through the API, from one balance in dollars. You see the price before each run, and a run that fails costs nothing.
Can I use what I make commercially?
Yes. You own what you make on Leap, so you can use it commercially, and we never train AI on it. The people and brands shown in a result can still have rights in it; the Terms say more.
Is there an API?
Yes. Every model here runs through Leap's REST API at the same price as in the studio, and agents can call them through Leap's MCP server.
