What it has made

Each one came back as you see it, from the photo in its corner where there is one. The people and the dog are generated: no real person's face is on this page.

Questions

Photo to cartoon, answered

Does it work on pets?
Yes. The recipe takes a photo of one person or one pet; the bulldog on this page is one of the runs.
Will it keep my expression?
Comic book and watercolor kept a frown or a gap-toothed laugh in our runs. Anime and 3D animated tend to soften a scowl into a neutral face or a smile, so pick comic book if the look matters.
Whose photo can I use?
Your own, or a photo of someone who agreed to it. Leap's Acceptable Use Policy forbids impersonating anyone or making deceptive fakes of real people.
What does Photo to cartoon make?
Turn a photo of a person or pet into an illustrated character that still looks like them.
What photo works best?
A clear photo of a person or a pet.
How does it work?
Add a clear photo of a person or a pet. Pick a style: 3D animated, anime, comic book, watercolor or flat. Get up to four pictures in under a minute.
What can I choose?
Style: 3D animated, Anime, Comic book, Watercolor or Flat illustration.
How much does it cost?
From $0.20 an image, and you see the exact price before you press go. A run that fails costs nothing, there is no subscription, and your first top-up has no card fee.
Can I use the result commercially?
Yes. You own what you make on Leap, so you can use it commercially, and we never train AI on it. The people and brands shown in a result can still have rights in it; the Terms say more.
Can I run it from code?
Yes. Developers run it as leap/photo-to-cartoon through the Leap API, at the same price, with the same choices.

It runs on Seedream 4.5, with the prompting done for you. Rather write your own? Open a model's page and start from there.
