Questions
Album cover, answered
- Will it spell the artist and the title right?
- Both go into the prompt in quotes, each printed once, to be spelled exactly. Read every cover letter by letter before you release it, and run it again if one slipped.
- Is it big enough for Spotify and Apple Music?
- Each cover is 2048 pixels square. Most distributors ask for at least 3000 by 3000, so upscale it first: the free image upscaler on this site doubles it to 4096 in your browser.
- Can I put my own photo on the cover?
- Not in this recipe: it draws the cover from your words. For a cover with you on it, open an image model that takes your photo, such as Nano Banana Pro, and give it the title and the artist name in quotes.
- What does Album cover make?
- Square cover art for an album or single, with the artist and title set in the design.
- How does it work?
- Type the artist and the title. Pick the sound, and describe the picture if you have one in mind. Get up to four covers in about a minute and a half.
- What can I choose?
- Sound: Hip-hop, Pop, Rock, Electronic, Indie and folk, Jazz or R&B and soul.
- How much does it cost?
- From $0.15 an image, and you see the exact price before you press go. A run that fails costs nothing, there is no subscription, and your first top-up has no card fee.
- Can I use the result commercially?
- Yes. You own what you make on Leap, so you can use it commercially, and we never train AI on it. The people and brands shown in a result can still have rights in it; the Terms say more.
- Can I run it from code?
- Yes. Developers run it as leap/album-cover through the Leap API, at the same price, with the same choices.
It runs on Seedream 5.0 Pro, with the prompting done for you. Rather write your own? Open a model's page and start from there.
