Which AI headshot generator to useThe best AI headshot generator for one photo, a set or a team

Most AI headshot sites sell a pack: you pay once, upload your selfies and get dozens of headshots between 15 minutes and two hours later. Leap charges per headshot instead, and you see each run finish in the studio. Here is what each one costs and gives you, as their own pages said on October 6, 2026, with real runs from Leap's generator.

Updated

The short answer

  • One or two headshots for LinkedIn, a CV or a bio: Leap's headshot generator. A headshot costs $0.25, one run makes up to 4, and new accounts get $2 of credit with no card, enough for 8.
  • A large set with a money-back promise: HeadshotPro. Its packs cost $29, $39 or $59 for 30, 50 or 70 headshots, and its pricing page says you get your money back if they don't look like you.
  • The most headshots in one order: Aragon's $75 pack makes 100, and BetterPic's $79 pack makes 120.
  • 4K on every plan: BetterPic. HeadshotPro's 4K files come with its $59 plan only, and Aragon's largest are 1792×2176 pixels.
  • Free, if you can wait or write your own prompt: BetterPic's free tier gives 10 headshots after a 60 to 90 day queue, and Gemini and ChatGPT make one from a photo and a careful prompt. Leap's guide to free AI headshot generators compares the free options.

Prices and what you get

Each company's prices and terms below are from its own pricing and refund pages on October 6, 2026. The packs are one-time payments, with no subscription.

HeadshotPro$29, $39 or $5930, 50 or 70At least 2048 px; 4K for $59
Aragon$35, $45 or $7540, 60 or 100896×1088; 1792×2176 for $75
BetterPic$35, $39 or $7920, 60 or 1204K
Aragon showed its prices as 20% off $44, $56 and $94, and BetterPic as discounts from $59, $79 and $129. The packs also differ in how long they take and how much you choose. HeadshotPro quotes about 2 hours on its $29 plan and 15 minutes on its $59 plan, and preselects the backdrops and outfits on the cheapest one. Aragon quotes 45 to 15 minutes, with one outfit and one backdrop on its $35 pack and all of them on the $75 one. BetterPic quotes 2 hours to 1 hour, with 1, 3 or 6 styles. If the headshots don't look like you:
  • Leap: change the photos or the settings and run again. A run that fails costs nothing.
  • HeadshotPro: its pricing page says every package has a money-back guarantee if the headshots don't look like you, and its refund page lets you claim a refund yourself if you haven't downloaded any photos and paid less than 14 days ago.
  • Aragon: a free redo or a full refund within 14 days, if you haven't downloaded the photos.
  • BetterPic: a refund within 7 days if training hasn't started. A redo costs $10.
Per headshot made, the packs work out at $0.65 (BetterPic's 60 for $39) to $1.75 (BetterPic's 20 for $35), and Leap charges $0.25. A pack gives you more to choose from in one go, so the number that matters is what each headshot you keep costs. Leap's headshot pricing guide works that out, with photographers' prices beside it.

Look at what stayed. The bright white headshot keeps the pink hijab from the selfie, the outdoor one keeps the septum ring and ear hoops, and the 74-year-old keeps his wrinkles, age spots and own cardigan. The tortoiseshell glasses in the dark executive headshot are the frames from her selfie.

What to check before you pay

  • Whether it keeps what makes you look like you: skin tone, age, build, glasses, piercings, a head covering. Look at a site's sample results at full size, and at your own before you use any.
  • How many photos it asks for. Leap's generator works from one to four; three work best, one straight on, one with your head turned a little and one someone else took.
  • What happens to your photos. HeadshotPro says your photos are never used to train AI models, and deletes the photos you upload 30 days after it makes your headshots. BetterPic says your uploads train only your own model and can be deleted on request, while free-tier photos may be used for marketing and AI training. Leap doesn't use your photos, prompts or results to train AI.
  • What a refund needs. Most end once you download a photo, so look at the previews before you download.
